What is AsiaCORD?

This international organization was started in November 2000 in Bangkok in order to help each other for establishing internationally-standardized cord blood banks in Asian cities and for fastening search and supply of high quality cord blood for Asian patients. Since 2011 in Beijing meeting, we have been working on not only cord blood but also umbilical cord tissue-derived cells (mesenchymal stromal cells). Now AsiaCORD mission is to serve the stable supply of high-quality cord blood and cord bank as the source of gene and cell therapy. Therefore major activities of AsiaCORD have been shifting toward sharing advanced scientific knowledge and technology by having Annual AsiaCORD Meeting for Progress in Cell Therapy.

We are delighted to annouce AsiaCORD symposium held on April 11 to April 12 , 2025 in Tokyo, Japan.
